ANNOUNCEMENTS
|
Several things for this
week's
1. This week's Troop
meeting is a Troop Court of Honor. All Scouts need
to attend in full Class A's, including Merit Badge
Sash if applicable. There are quite a number of
awards to give out. All parents are welcome (and
encouraged) to attend to stand with your Scout as
he receives awards earned since the last ceremony.
2. T-Shirts...... Troop 214 is ordering
troop T-shirts. Adults who wish to order a Troop
T-shirt need to email their NAME and SIZE to the
following email address: gman214@live.com (Garrison).
Roger and
Garrison need this info by tomorrow night since
the order needs to go in this week. Remember NAME
and SIZE to Garrison by tomorrow night.
3. July 2 - Burgundy
Place 5:30 - 8:00pm
Troop 214 will be participating in the 4th of July
program at Burgundy Place. We will be opening with
the Flag, and serving food to the folks like the
past years. Scouts will have free food. This will
be the fourth year Troop 214 will be a part of this
event.

TROOP
& CREW 214 ACTIVITIES |
Troop
214 and Venturing Crew 214, goes camping or does some activity
every month of the year no matter what the weather! All Scouts
are expected to participate in our activities, including;
camping, swimming, canoeing, hiking, climbing and repelling
and shooting. For Scouts 14 year or older our Venturing crew
offers high adventure outings and pistol shooting. We camp
at various Scout camps around Eastern Oklahoma, Northwest
Arkansas, Southwest Missouri and Southern Kansas. The Venturing
Crew camps at Various high adventure camps. |

both follow and maintain the areas we
visit and camp in to the highest level of the LEAVE
NO TRACE ETHICS, Normally these areas are as clean or
Cleaner than we found it. A teach these skills to all the young
men and co-ed Venture Crews to up hold and pass on to those
to follow. |

O.A. Order of the Arrow, is a
higher level of Scouting, any scout is illegible but they
have to be nominated by there fellow Scouts.
The Order entrusts the Candidates to give freely to one another
and the Community there time and support in a higher level
than expected by BSA. A Bother-hood of Boy Scouts. |
