Summer Camp 2010


TROOP 214 ACTIVITIES

Troop 214 goes camping or does some kind of activity every month of the year no matter what the weather! All Scouts are expected to participate in our activities, including; camping, swimming, canoeing, hiking, climbing and repelling and shooting. We camp at various Scout camps around Eastern Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas, Southwest Missouri and Southern Kansas.

Troop 214 Follows and Leads by Leave No Trace Ethics.
Troop 214 follows and maintain the areas we visit and camp in to the highest level of the LEAVE NO TRACE ETHICS, Normally these areas are as clean or cleaner than we found it, we teach these skills to all the young men to up hold and pass on to those to follow.
O.A. The Order of the Arrow.
The O.A. Order of the Arrow, is a higher level of Scouting, any scout is illegible but they have to be nominated by there fellow Scouts.
The Order entrusts the Candidates to give freely to one another and the Community their time and support in a higher level than expected by BSA. A Bother-hood of Boy Scouts.
