"OUTLYING AREA" DISTRICTS |
| Black Beaver District : Includes Comanche County and all Caddo County communities except for those is the northern tip of Caddo County |
| Canadian Valley District : Includes all communities in Pottawatomie County, Seminole County, and Hughes County and also the communities in the southern one-third of Lincoln County. |
| Chisholm Trail District : Includes all communities in Grady county except for a small area in the north eastern part of Grady county, all communities in Cotton County and Stephens County, all communities in Jefferson County except for a small portion in the southeast corner of Jefferson County. Chisholm Trail also includes the city of Lindsay, which is located Garvin County. |
| Kicking bird District : Includes all communities in Greer County, Harmon County, Jackson County, Kiowa County, and Tillman County. |
| Western Plains District : Western Plains District is one of the Last Frontier Council's outlying-area districts. Its geographic territory covers all of Roger Mills, Custer, Beckham, and Washita Counties, and the northern tip of Caddo County in Oklahoma. |
"METRO AREA" DISTRICTS |
| Baden Powell District : Includes northwest Oklahoma City from Memorial Road on the North, to Santa Fe Avenue on the East, to County Line Road on the West, and along Reno Avenue on the South. |
| Big Tepee District: Big Tepee District is an Oklahoma City metro area district in Last Frontier Council. Its geographic territory, effective July 1, 2003, covers the Capitol Hill area of southwest Oklahoma City and Northeast Oklahoma City. The Eastern Oklahoma County communities of Midwest City, Del City, Jones, Harrah, and Choctaw. Also included within Big Tepee district are Crooked Oaks School District and Tinker AFB. |
| The district boundaries include, traveling North on Santa Fe Ave. to 63rd St., East to Anderson Road then North to Memorial Road (which includes Jones) then East to the county line. Traveling South from Memorial Road to 89th St., then go West to County Line Road and then North on County Line Road to I-40. Travel East on I-40 from County Line Road to Santa Fe Ave |
| Eagle District : Includes all communities within Logan County and within the northern end of Oklahoma County including Edmond from Memorial Road North, and West to Mac arthur. The town of Wells ton in Lincoln County is also a part of Eagle District. |
Learning for Life : is comprised of two sections: (1)a character based curriculum developed by the BSA to help serve the children in school today and (2) Career Awareness Exploring Posts. Learning for Life in school covers a wide range of areas for schools to utilize. The program's curriculum support is available for children in grades K-12 and for special needs children. Career Awareness Exploring has chartering organizations which partner with BSA and provide work site based programs for young people ages 14-21. The primary career awareness Exploring Groups are Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Services, Military and Medical Science and Technology groups.
The mission of Learning for Life is to serve by helping others to instill core values in young people, and in other ways prepare them to make ethical choices throughout their lives so they can achieve their full potential. |
| New Horizons : The Last Frontier Council Outreach Program has its focus on increasing awareness of, and opportunities for participation in, Scouting in the south and central metro areas of Oklahoma City in Oklahoma County |
| Sooner District : Sooner District is a district of the Last Frontier Council. Its geographic territory covers Norman, Moore, Little Axe, Washington, Goldsby and all other communities in Cleveland County and Purcell, Blanchard, Wayne, and all other communities in McClain County, Tuttle and other communities in eastern Grady County. |
| Will Rogers District : Will Rogers District is an Oklahoma City metro-area district in Last Frontier Council. Its geographic territory includes all of Yukon, El Reno and all other communities in Canadian County and western Oklahoma County from Portland Avenue and to the west and from NW 39th Street and to the south. |
